Cambridge has 3 levels of exams for children: Starters, Movers and Flyers aimed at children from 7 to 12 years old. These tests are especially designed so that children learn in a progressive way. At Starters level students learn words and simple sentences and as they advance through to Flyers the vocabulary becomes more extended and the grammar more complicated.

The exams are based on the four linguistic skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking so are a true indicator of a student’s ability to use real English.
